We often receive a lot of response if the survey has a direct impact to the employee such as our hybrid work survey. We us MS forms currently but also have Lattice that has survey questions that is benchmarked that we will use for our DEI
We use Culture Amp for our engagement surveys and annual preforms reviews. Highly recommend!
Ditto for Culture Amp. Their surveys and diagnostics have been helpful for us. Lots of people science to back their findings - nice to see where your organization falls in comparison. Their team is invested in your organization's success
If you want team members to respond, not only do you need 'engaging questions' - you'll need to ensure the following with all your EE surveys...
Timely report out of the results.
With regard to the qualitative responses - comb the feedback for themes and share it - the fine details are not really necessary
Senior leadership's commitment to addressing the hot spots on the 'heatmap'.
Preparing department leaders to engage and do the work as well.
Team members want to know that their voice matters and are heard by all levels of management. The topics & solutions generated by these surveys need to become part of the conversation after results are shared. Otherwise you will lose participation very quickly.
