Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

Looks like they are going to give peanuts in September and observe how employees reacting. If more resignation follows then maybe they will revise the % in November based on further discussion with particular employee. and if people don't react then anyways a win situation for them.

Not it’s not like that the final number will be communicated to you in the Aug month itself only the execution will happen in the split manner . The same approach was followed last year as well.

This is not new at Globant. For the last few years, split increments were part of only few cases, mostly the globers with high % hike. Like last year, a glober received 15% increment in the month of May and additional 5% in the month of Oct.
However, this year split increment is applicable for all the globers.
In split increment, the complete increments will be communicated at one go and even your appraisal letter will have the final salary components in it. It’s just that the salary changes will be done in two phases, one in Sep and another in Nov.

It will be split like this.
Suppose you have a CTC of 10LPA and management decides to give you a 10% increment. So your total increment is 1 Lac.
Now this amount will be splitting.
First 50k you will get in Sept and remaining 50k in nov.
