What does 11LPA fixed should fetch me net monthly salary?

My background check is taking forever and now they are asking me to provide my letter of separation for a job I held 7 years back.
This is making me anxious since I am also in the process of H1B transfer - I just want them to tell me if I passed the check or not before I resign.

Hey! I got an offer today from R@kuten for Sr Business Analyst of CAD $110K+15% annual bonus. Verbally in conversation with recruiter I had asked for CAD 115+10% annual bonus. I was initially offered $110k+10% annual bonus. I think I’ve already priced myself low which might be decent (not sure) for Toronto but way less in comparison with Bay Area where most of team will be based off. I resigned from my current org on 28th Sep and it got accepted on 29th Sep and I got salary for September as on 30th Sep.
I am supposed to serve a notice period of 2 month out of which october has passed and I haven't received October salary yet. When I questioned they HR said that salary for the month of resignation will be paid (which was September as per them) and for remaining period it will be withheld an shall be paid with FnF.

Dear Mass recruiting companies, Now onwards please don't lecture only the employees in terms of ethics, moon lighting. Please look inwards and introspect yourself too.

I am an senior associate at a small (8-10 attorneys) immigration firm in NYC. My base is 110k and I get 30% for the cases and clients I bring in. My revenue was 370k last year and I did 250k till April this year.

My issue is, I have so much firm's work that I have hard time to work on my cases/clients. It feels like my cases are supposed to be done after hours (like after 6 pm). My work hours are crazy. I feel this is unfair and since my firm's taking 70% of my sales. Should I ask for a raise?

Hi - looking for direction: I’m about to file my citizenship application without a lawyer (after 5yrs of permanent residency). I filled out the N-400 form myself. At the end of the form it’s asking to upload any documents/evidence. How important is it uploading documents and what exactly is preferable to upload? (ex: foreign passport pgs, univ degree, employment verification?). It didn’t specifically require to upload copies. Would my case be denied if I don’t upload anything? Thx in advance

So I just had a client tell me their asylum case is fabricated, and can't I help prepare the person for court. My initial reaction, fire the client. I'm not that kind of atty. But I hear so many talk about finding a balance and not turning ppl away bc ultimately they need a defense and who knows what will come up along the way. How would you handle? How do you find the balance btwn not turning clients away but not being unethical?
