BAH… interviewed for a “Senior” strategy position. 8 YOE, Secret Clearance, bunch of certs etc etc…they offered 105k Base HCOL. They said that’s their MAX!
I’m honestly surprised by that number. It’s WAY LOWER than we talked about in the initial interview.
Did I miss something, is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? I was excited about this role and performed well during the interview….🙁

Is it a norm to send a thank you note through your recruiter? I had an iffy interview, and wondering if I bother sending a thank you note. It was very clear that they were trying to do a stress interview so I feel weird saying the usual nice things.
