Deloitteï»ż GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?
Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)

With 6 YOE, itâll be hard for them to match that 140 mark honestly, unless youâre commercial or cleared.
FWIW came from Booz commercial with 3 YOE at 90k, most of my federal peers at 3 YOE were between 65-80
The salary numbers are more or less in line with federal - A tends to be a little higher than what you've quoted in my experience. Main difference is how long it takes to progress from one level to another. I do tend to see 30-year-old SAs on the commercial accounts whereas in federal mid-to-late 50s is more typical.
You could hit around $160k as a lead associate/project manager, but unless you are in cyber or are a top 1% performer that would probably require 20+++ years substantive experience in a currently in-demand area (almost certainly defense) and an open position. So very unlikely.
