I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Agree with PL1 - better to forego tenure credit and make sure youâre set up for success. The transition is not always easy, and we have a pretty firm up or out, so why risk it for the sake of 6-12 months?
Yes. 2 years to promo (and 165k base) is median and mode.
A1 comp is 90k base + 10-20% bonus + 5% retirement on base and bonus with no vesting + basically free healthcare.
Answering your question behind the question (I hope): it will be to to your benefit to just start over in terms of tenure. That will give you lots of runway to show your stuff. Even though it might feel like a step back, you can see how it will actually be a huge leap ahead in short order.
Good luck
Case well. Everything else is secondary
Median promo timing for As is 24 months, yes
BCG sounds great
There is also a 21mo pay bump along the way
If youâve got 2 years of experience, you might be able to push for âSenior Associateâ instead of just Associate. I believe the C promotion comes at 12-18 months if you enter as a Senior Associate. Best of luck with the interview!

Can confirm from a friend who did this, though I imagine timing is that quick only for high performers
@Partner 1, and everyone once promoted gets that base salary? Does it start in like September or January the year after?
It starts upon promotion. If you started March of 2019, your paycheck in March of 2021 would be for the Consultant-level salary (currently the 165k you mentioned)
Yes
Interview coming up as well. Want to case practice? Also would love to hear how round 1 went
