What’s his rationale for wanting you to stick it out? It can’t be simply because it’s Big 4…
Yeah but all reasons come with being at a big4. The pay, the learning and development resources, we move up rather quick and have a clear promotion path, better options when switching to industry, the health benefits are amazing here too.
I know it’s tough. So many consultants at D are Burnt out. How often do you travel?
Nice. The consultants that come in and out of my office are there weekly and all hate it. They “co-locate”
What does your husband do that he wants you to stick it out? Honestly, I would make it to senior and leave depending on your industry.
Gotcha, honestly not sure where people go for human capital transformations. I would imagine in house somewhere but if I’m being honest…if you can stick it out through SM you can get some really high level jobs in private if you can wait that long. After you hit SM, you’re really the one running the show so it really is a bit diff. All depends on what your goals are.
I feel like it gets “better” at the 3 year mark, and exits become more favorable & rewarding at this point onwards.
