Been making a real effort to not check emails after 7pm, and I already feel better heading into the next day, Also really making an effort to do activities after clocking off to reset my brain.

How do you create real boundaries between work and life?

I love what you set. I do pretty much the same thing and it's been a game changer. I actually turn off work notifications right after dinner and set a hard stop by closing my laptop. Then I dive into something totally unrelated, like cooking or a quick walk, to reset.

like

That sounds like such a solid routine. I’m finding that physical cues—like shutting the laptop or even changing clothes—really help me mentally switch off too. It’s wild how something as small as turning off notifications can make such a big difference in how rested you feel the next day.

How long did it take you to get comfortable with setting boundaries? I still massively struggle with it, which means I feel like I'm on the clock 24/7. It's exhausting, even though I know it's my own fault. I just worry about retaliation if I start setting boundaries.

Totally get that—honestly, it took me ages to get comfortable with it. I used to feel guilty every time I didn’t reply instantly. What helped was starting small—like setting one “no email” hour in the evening—and gradually building from there. Boundaries don’t have to be all or nothing, and the right people will respect them. It’s not your fault—it’s the culture we work in.

I make a conscious effort to create a boundary in my mind between work and my own time. Some people call it a separation ritual, and the basic idea is to do something at the end of the workday that involves your mind but isn't work related. It can be reading a book for 45 minutes, or taking a walk, or cooking a good meal. Just get thinking about something else, and once you've done that your mind is redirected into your own personal time. It can take some practice, but once you do it as a routine it can work pretty well.

I don’t do anything that might be related to my job. It can make it hard when you’re working in this industry but when I go to the cinema, I tune out the trailers so I can enjoy the movie and at home I usually dabble in different media.

Yeah I try to keep productive/creative hobbies going so I can keep my brain active not at work, just not have them be in anyway related to my job!

I was heading into my 2nd round interview in March with PwC's WF of the Future Team (was beyond excited for this). Covid froze hiring for that team. Recruiter and I are in touch, and doesn't seem like that team is hiring yet. Does anyone have insider knowledge regarding this team or any people/organization team's hiring plans? Id really love to get back in the running...

Hi guys 👋🏻
This is regarding the interest amount of our EPF.

For you guys,is the interest details showing any amount in the EPFO member passbook? Or is it showing '0' like me(As seen in the photo below)?

Is the government yet to credit the interest amounts of our PF balances? Or is something wrong with my PF account only?

Any inputs will be really appreciated 🙂
