Benefits of doing a functional title versus actual title on LinkedIn?
(E.g. Value Creator, Storyteller, HR professional versus Talent and Organization Manager)

I kinda like my actual title but everyone seems to be describing themselves these days.

Wondering for anyone who got their CFF (Ceritified Financial Forensics) designation. Was it difficult? How long does it take to study for using the review course? Is the exam mainly multiple choice or short answer and how difficult? Any guidance or tips would help please. I already have my CFE but just want to know if CFF is worth it

What’s people opinion on mediocrity? Like wouldn’t it be so easy to just coast forever, like a nice cosy life, with little to not professional growth.

People who did ACCA after CA. What is the cost effective method to do ACCA from India. Does ACCA partners offer any subsidized subscription to Indian students? Or is there any benefit passed through Approved coaching centers. Also for Indian CA's whether doing ACCA as regular is better or professional pathway for CA professionals is better?

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. My access for Becker expired already and I don't want to spend 2k again 😭 such a tough choice to make but I feel like I'm not getting what I need from Wiley.

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is. Would love to hear thoughts on best approach of you are a senior associate at V10 firm. Do you just become counsel until they tell you that partnership is not in the cards or do you try to hop to the first partnership (equity, or at least NEP with clear progression to equity if you bring in some business) opportunity at a say V50 firm. Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree.
