Kirkland brand balls are great for pretty cheap. Someone told they’re Bridgestone balls, but unconfirmed. My course usually gives us a dozen Pro Vs for tournaments that I’ll play with but won’t spend my own money for them. I’m a 26 y/o, 8 handicap, usually shoot low to mid 80s

Calloways from costco

I’ve tried the vice balls...they’re good for the price although i’ve notice they get beat up quickly - what do you typically shoot?

Mid 80s

You can no longer buy NXTs - they are discontinued...

Look for 5A preowned on Amazon. I only use brand new balls when I’m playing a serious match. I usually get ProV1Xs for ~$1/ball compared to $4/ball new. Also have randomly picked up some Bridgestone e6s on the course and they play well too.

Does anyone know when the JS salary bumps occur? I graduated in May 2020, but did not start working at my firm until September 2020. I’ll start my clerkship in June 2021 — will I start at JS-12 or JS-13? If I start at JS-12, will I ever bump up to JS-13?

I’m a second year associate with a split lit/transactional practice interviewing (second round) for an in house position this week. Interview is with the general counsel. Any interview tips? Wondering what questions I should make sure to ask and what skills to highlight given it’s a more entry level in house position and they know I’m coming from firm experience. Thanks in advance!

Ladies who also abide by the “expecting better” philosophy that a glass of wine every once in a while is totally fine during pregnancy… I am going to a work women’s happy hour tomorrow. Yay or nay on using my weekly glass of wine? (I am clearly pregnant and people know I am pregnant). I kind of want to but I also fear the judgement and having to explain myself…

Now that a vaccine is here the reality of going back to the classroom is getting closer to become a reality. I am wondering about how we can help the students begin to practice self management skills now before going back to the classroom. What are some things we can practice virtually that will be used in the classroom?

Lot of negatives from Covid. Am curious to poll this crowd on what we think the long term positives will be, both for consultants and society at large. Let’s generate some positive vibes.
