Depends on what you're looking for. Hyatt provides good consistent value. United is good while they still have award charts, Virgin Atlantic can be very lucrative to fly Delta without using skypesos. I'm sure others can chime in about scenarios
The new Singapore suites. Or to United for some sweet Thai air first class or Lufthansa First plus the first class terminal in Frankfurt. Over to BA for Cathay Pacific first class or other OneWorld redemptions. You’ve got lots of options. Just don’t do cash back
When I say cash back, I actually mean cash back - via actual cash back redemptions or for gift cards or other products/services.
I think being able to use the CSR and Ultimate Rewards to buy cash tickets has such a high value. Whereas getting a straight dump of points into cash isn’t an efficient use of the increased value of purchasing travel with the CSR.
Buy flights at 1.5c per point which themselves get treated as paid flights and earn you more status and redeemable miles.
@A2 depends. With so many cheap basic economy flights and economy flights these days you can usually get a pretty good deal by just using the 1.5c redemption. However if you need to buy a flight last minute/or splurge on a first class intl flight transferring points can net you far better value, 2-4c pet point
Transfer to Virgin Atlantic for round-trip J to Asia from the US
Southwest is best value for travel in North America
Credit to account. Same as a cash ticket. Just make sure the contact email is correct
