Hi I got selected in Nagarro i.e. I cleared all the tech rounds but now HR is saying there is no vacancy , they are saying as soon as there is a vacancy they will give me an offer and asked me to wait until then. My tech stack is. java backend . Yoe - 2years. What should i do ? I want to join Nagarro, I resigned based on my Nagarro interview result also I hated TCS, hoping HR would call me in week . Pls guide me ? Why do these companies keep interviews when they don’t have vacancy?
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

Def split it. Exactly for reasons you said. Gives you chance to react to R1 feedback and improve for R2.

To be fair, it is high bar to pass R1. We don’t have a quota system, so everyone who passes R1 has won the confidence of their R1 interviewers that they could/should pass R2.
Said another way. Folks who get offers in R2 are typically the same type of folks who will get offers on Super Day.
Edge cases who actually benefit from R1/R2 split will be very few and far between. But still makes sense to give yourself the benefit ;) good luck
Agree - you want to be fresh and ready to think.
I would love to see the % of successful candidates of both modalities, as I suspect they will be quite different (thought there may be self selection stuff there too).
I personally preferred 4 in one day to get it over with but depends on what feels best to you!
I went super round many years ago as that was the only option given. Two in the morning. If you made it through first round, you’d do 2 in the afternoon. I was out by 5/6 pm
I split and feel it was the right move
I planned McK in the morning and another firm in the afternoon because I didn’t really know what to expect. My afternoon did not go well. Split :)
