Big 4 DD vs mid tier Deal advisory.

I've got an offer for a graduate position in Big 4 Transaction Diligence and have an interview coming up for Deal Advisory at a smaller but respected firm.

The big 4 name stands out and would probably have better exit opportunities, but i've heard the exposure is much smaller, particularly as its only DD not Deals in general. Any advice?

What are some of the best consulting firms for a software engineer? Is MBB still considered elite in this area too?
