Opinions are one thing. Intelligence briefings need to be fact regardless of how you feel about the actual events going on.
Interestingly, I read this as a situation where Booz Allen subcontracted a portion of this to another company and they gave the opinion and Booz just delivered the report without verification and validation. I take it that it wasn’t a Booz Allen employee who did this but maybe I’m wrong.
Definitely not an opinion, the rush to categorize it as such is comical

Conflicted about this
Technically Snowden and this guy did violate the company polices / contract they signed up for. So it is up to the company to fire them
But I don’t think they should be persecuted if they highlighted a genuine issue in public interest

Ok. So you are making a political point
Like I said, I’m conflicted. It is COMPLETELY up to Booz to fire whoever they want. It’s a private enterprise. It can be for any reason including this. They can fire people for jeopardizing their government contracts , they can fire people for publishing something they don’t agree with or they can fire people if the client (aka the government) do not like a contractor
As far as politics of it, outside of Booz right to fire whoever they want, I don’t think the person should not be prosecuted legally for providing an opinion through the channels available to them. The channel owner can ban them or fire them.
Your personal opinions about Elon musk and DOGE is fine. As long as you don’t make it firm’s opinion. That’s what Booz is saying.
Basically he made a “memo” that was a bunch of personal opinion bs and he was trying to use Booz Allen’s authority to pass it as fact.
Cry me a river
I hope the whistleblower can sue
This is old news
Wilddd responses here
The number of settlements Booz has paid the federal government and/or whistleblowers is astounding.
