I might be off base here but I have been that employee trying to solve everyone else’s work. And actually I just made things harder on myself and on the person I was rescuing to grow or be dealt with. So sometimes not my circus not my monkeys really is the right course of action.

Yep, this is a great example for that card and the “quiet quit” card.
Going through this right now. I’ve trained the new staff 3+ times now and they keep making excuses why they keep messing up. Even went so far as to turn it into them messing up is not to blame but rather me questioning their work is the issue now. I’m going to stay in my lane. Let them fall on their face. Boss can take it up with them on their mistakes and keep me out of it because I am going to sit back and play the dumb blonde card.
It’s so funny to me that letting people get the consequences of their own decisions is a negative. We aren’t doing people any favors saving them from themselves.
