I am from EY India (2 years ++)
What's the best way to approach my counselor for a relocation to another city so that the counselor/manager approves without any issue..
Obviously it won't happen overnight, I have to give my handover and that could take a month, I am fine with that.

Anything I should take care of before joining new location?

One opportunities I get to talk with company the age becomes factor (~38), is it too young to get on BOD? I have some individuals that will not take actual vacations, they say, “I’ll have my laptop and phone”. Our company is going through a major transformation and there is quite a bit of resistance due to uncertainty and lots of broken promises. Are there any books you would recommend on how to change corporate culture and help employees adapt to change?

I am a Senior Project Manager for a custom estate builder. We build homes over $50mm in construction costs for the ultra wealthy. I have been with this firm for 15 years and make $350K annual. There is only one partner and the sole proprietor who is essentially retired. They split ~$5MM in profits per year. I have reached the limit on title / career progression in my company - nowhere upwards to go. I highly doubt they will ever partner anyone else into the business. Do I leave?

Working my way up the corporate ladder. I have so many thoughts on leadership and want to initiate changes in the departments I work with. But at this level it's so difficult. Ppl are so resistant to change.

My key learning thus far in my career: Noone gives a shit about your ideas unless you're a head honcho. Real change is brought about from a position of authority.
