I’m going to get that Farmers Dog copywriter job any day now, just you wait.
Love that it’s been up for 2 years now
But where else will I click "Easy Apply" and not get an interview? 🥺
They should call it “Easy Reject”
The Adobe recruiter just needs to see my resume one more time
I'm still holding out for that sweet Aha! CD role
Haven't applied on linked in in months. Better results with Glassdoor and Indeed.
I have been on LinkedIn for more than two years, I keep sending resumes, but I have never had an interview. These companies are not looking for anyone, they just have to do it legally, but in fact they already have someone
I leapfrogged hundreds of LinkedIn ads for my last job when my friend just brought me in at the last minute. Just say no to LinkedIn job posts.

I wiiiiiiish. It is soooo demeaning to comment or reach out and follow up. Feels like begging.
Message for the recruiters:
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
IDEA: Between needs, answer some of the cold emails from creatives in your inbox. Schedule a 15 minute call. Build a roster. Who does integrated campaigns? Who should you call for banners? Who does videos? Whatever projects you are usually resourcing for, make lists of creatives who do that stuff.
Example: I had a meeting scheduled w a recruiter who cancelled two hours before the meeting bc the role went away. Hey, we already have time scheduled. Let's still meet so I can tell you about my experience, and what I like to work on, that way you can think of me for the next one.
Nope. She ghosted me after the Zoom cancellation email.
This boycott would probably work if we were in an employee economy but the employers and the recruiters have all the power now.
Agencies only hire creatives by referral or word of mouth. The point of the boycott is to save us from wasting our valuable time on bad faith postings.
For. Real.
Any other reliable options you can suggest?
I’ve had a lot of luck with roles on LinkedIn and got interviews with Amazon, Disney, Twitter (pre-X), Pinterest, Arby’s, Delta, Home Depot, Ogilvy, and a bunch more. Made it to the final round for several, got four offers and it’s how I landed my current role. Of course I’ve seen the roles that get reposted for months, but that hasn’t been the norm.
I say we boycott throwing our portfolios in the comments of people’s posts. It’s giving desperation. I feel too, but I’m not going to give it a national stage, ya know?! Please agree!
Think we can get over 100 applicants to like this post?
You know I am loving the simplicity of this, but I am struggling to see the why? What were the reasons go believe in the brief again?
Has anyone gotten a response/interview/anything from all those PepsiCo jobs they’ve been pushing for months?

Omg. Don't get me started. The head guy keeps posting about it and I am like, what are you doing, dude? What are you getting out of this?
FWIW, I landed my current gig that way and that’s how we found our last hire as well, so don’t completely knock it…
