The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Answer this: What does that say about what has become subconsciously engrained within most of us?

I’m struggling with an issue with a student right now. I teach in a suburban school outside of NYC that has a very large majority of white students. One of my Black students was recently involved in a biased incident with another student in which he received racist social media messages and racist spoken words from the other student. This was a kid that my Black student thought was his friend. He’s heartbroken, and so am I. I want to know how I can best support my student.

It is almost the end of the traditional school year 😅. What are your summer plans?

Recently, as you probably know, Dr. Seuss's estate chose to stop printing a few of his older books that had offensive racial stereotypes. There was huge backlash from white people, including teachers here, screaming "cancel culture!"
Now we have a white guy who murdered eight Asians in custody, unharmed; while the police officer who killed an African American man for allegedly trying to pass a bad check is about to go on trial.
