All comes down to what you want to do in your career and why you left your last company. Does the PE role have managerial responsibilities? Do you want them? Did you leave because of issues with career growth, culture, or money? Do you think the company has improved on this since you left? There is a reason you left and unfortunately, those things that drove you away in the first place will most likely be there when you get back.
