I am looking to get into technical/engineering sales. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to start or places to look at? LinkedIn and other job postings sites are overwhelming and I’ve always wanted to get into sales. My background is industrial engineering with a minor in business and my current role is a mechanical engineer in manufacturing with about 6 years of experience. I want to work for a company or sell something that I am passionate about or have an interest in. Thank you!

Hi Guys,I joined Cognizant as a BA.One client took interview for RPA Project.I was pretty happy it's a new tech but into the project the onsite BA's r doing all the work n m just creating documentation.I am really frustrated.I picked cognizant of many good offers.They r spoiling my career.What shud I do? Tell my manager or just resign.Its not good leaving company in 6-7 months.

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. However, I’m passionate about a pm role and have got an offer for a rotation position. I’m not sure how to bring it up to my supervisor considering they made that promise only recently. Wondering to get some advice on how hard it would be or get an understanding of the market to get back into private accounting/advisory or financial analyst after stepping away for 2.5 years. I was in public accounting for almost 5 years prior and stepped away as a supervising senior in audit for a mid tier firm. Would love to get a chance to connect/network with some people.

I’ve been applying for jobs and internships in my field (looking for jobs in media production, social media, music, entertainment) for months with no luck. They say it’s about connections, but my connections are limited especially in these fields. I am constantly ghosted by recruiters and managers on LinkedIn. What do you think about my new title? I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?
