Sounds like you’re at a smaller shop/not a big consultancy.
Within the big 4, you would be a Manager or Senior Manager, making 200k+ at that point. Probably averages out to a little over 10% a year.
Additionally, if you’re getting 1% raises, you are effectively getting a pay cut every year due to inflation.
Time for a new job my friend.

Well, with your experience, you will be looking at a pretty massive raise if you get into the right role!
More than 1%. I’m graduated in 2020 and started at 69k base and I’m now at 112kbase with around $130kTC. Even if you’re in a boutique or big 4 you should be at minimum the 160k range if not broken 200k for base
100%. You can’t double every 2 years unfortunately but 15 years in I better be making 200k 😅
Agree with the above. Insultingly low.

Here’s my observation:
When I started in 2005, entry was about $36,000
In 2015, entry was about $55,000
In 2022, entry is something crazy like $90,000

I would say closer to 80k base for most college grads, 90 in select markets. This is for B4 and similar sized shops specifically.
I switched firms after that long and got the market adjustment I was owed. The firm at that time was not going to adjust for market rate.
