Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? Reposting from HR bowl: I’ve heard there is a hiring boom, especially for L&D roles. I was let go recently from a toxic environment (removed the company from everything) after only 4 days of work. I’m actively job searching but not receiving ideal hits. I see a lot of senior level L&D roles but not as many for specialist roles, specifically in tech. I have 5.5 years of experience. I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience?
