Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

All of the aforementioned is non-existent.
You don't have any real benefits. 401k match is very low and only vests after three years. They also only match you once a year so you loose your employer match if you leave before then. You will not get a raise if you negotiate a decent starting salary; that is how they make up for paying you more than they wanted to. Also realize that whatever is discussed as a yearly bonus means nothing. You can only advance if you are vouched for by 4 senior individuals and that is all political. You get less Holidays off since they follow the broker dealer calendar. Some locations dont have computers, so you have to buy your own. The health insurance is also a joke. It covers nothing until you reach your out of pocket max, and there is no copay so you are paying til you hit the max.

Second everything said by MS2. Health benefits are the worst, I switched to my husbands’ health care first time in 15 years. Promotions are a challenge in Baltimore and pay is low. There is only 1 MD and handful of EDs. Preference is given to NY.
Culture - none or political at best. Very traditional.
