Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

In last 1 year I have applied in about 6000 roles, I have not been shortlisted in any. I got professional help too, everyone is like your CV is great, its just right opportunity is not coming, have patience, right opportunity is just around the corner. My fooot. Honestly, buddy, I think its all about luck, nothing else. I have my classmates, whose resumes look terrible, full of spelling mistakes, they haven't even laid down proper details about their skills and experience, but their profile gets shortlisted and they even land the job. Everyone in my circle (not friends, I do not have friends, just classmates, former colleagues, etc.), they are earning over 30 LPA. And no they are all from tier 3 colleges no MBA as well. But Idk how the hell they have landed such good jobs in good organizations. At least you are getting "not shortlisted" in most applications, so I believe there are a few in which you are getting shortlisted.
Same happening with me as well.
Thats terrible
Looks like we all are facing the same issue. It's because when we apply for any role they shortlist the resume using ATS and the ATS just rejects resumes if it doesn't find the same keywords and verbs mentioned in JD for which you are applying.
In my opinion this process sucks.
My suggestion is to make a new resume by looking into the JD every time you apply for any opportunity.
Agree with you. But we are left with no other alternatives here.
Really hunting for a job has become a nightmare now.
