I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈
Any 30+ female around? Would love to chat.
Hello 🐟🎏
When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

Just keep applying for IT security roles and hopefully someone will take a chance. Or keep going after IT security CERTS. Or do both.
Best bet would be to start doing things like Tryhackme and Hackthebox and climb the ladder in your free time. This would be in addition to any another lab environments that you could have access to.
I can tell you from experience in my past and current position that even tier 1 analysts positions are seeking people already working in the field.
In this current environment your best bet is to keep some presence in the above sites and apply to everything you see.
I know working as an analyst prior, that some basic support duties normally go to the tier 1s, which might help. So it is possible that your experience will help.
The question of certs is a hit or miss. It would come down to if that is a automatic disqual for ATS and if competition all have them. If anything you would most likely want a step above in a market like this i.e CYSA, CISSP etc.
Your best bet is networking as best as possible, as I have seen people without certs get into skilled Cybersec positions. Networking will hold the most weight anyways.
