Rising Star
I tried lateraling to them as a consultant with 4 years of experience and they refused to go over 110, so I went to another big4 for 125.
I’ve heard the general range for T&O consultants is 90-120, exp hires being a bit on the higher side
That’s absurd!

How many YOE?
Chief
Just kinda depends.
My wife joined ACN in the T&O practice with a little less than 3 YOE, she got 93+7 signing in Houston which was the bottom of the band ("level A"). With 2 YOE I wouldn't expect you'd be brought in any higher than Consultant level A either. Add a few thousand for the rise in salaries in the three years since she joined, plus a few more for Chicago being more expensive than Houston (I'm just making a guess that you're Chicago) and I'll actually bump my guess to 100k.
I think that's a fair ask to be in line with homegrown people. I just don't think they'll go up to $110, but if you had 3 years I could definitely see it
95.
100 tops
Damn so it’s one of the lower paying arms in strategy & consulting?
No, that’s just the salary for Midwest. It will generally be the range people have given you regardless of which “arm” you’re in other than if you joined Strategy, which has set salaries regardless of location.
