Adding another comment about nordstrom styling. I just did it a few weeks ago and had a great experience.. The actual styling does not cost anything, stylists make commission off the items you buy. When booking your appointment you can select your stylist as well as the budget per item. When you arrive they have a bunch of outfits ready for you to try on. If you need other sizes/colors etc they get it for you. It was truly such a great experience and I walked out of there with a new wardrobe!

I think the session is $50. A reset depends on how many items and what you end up buying.

The Nordstrom styling department might be a good start.

Lol buddy try Italian bespoke . There’s some good ones in soho
Nordstrom stylist is 100% the way to go, as a multi brand store and a whole department of professional personal stylists dedicated to this.
Just make your (or find a) gf to do it
I like Bloomingdale’s stylists. But any high end dept store is good. I dropped like $700 last fall on new clothes for the first time in years (during a sale!) and had a good time. I hate clothes shopping so it says a lot. Also gave me encouragement to try on things I normally wouldn’t.
Depending on how actually “high” your budget is. That said I’ve had great results using Stitch Fix at the $70-$120/piece price range. If you want the in person experience go to Bloomingdale’s or Nordstrom
I’d do this for free
I suggest go to London and observe what people wear. They invented a lot of the standard classy wear from the suit to the trench coat and have the best taste in my opinion. Walk around Savile Row and Jermyn Street. Then walk around the City of London financial district.
Yo I can do this for you, DM me, I’m also in nyc
