Can someone please tell me what is so bad with being a supervisor for an agency in DoD? I work in IT and my boss is a NH IV (equivalent to a GS 14) and is looking to retire but noone seems interested in his job. Am I missing something because the min starting salary for me would add at least 25-30K to my salary? I know money is not everything but does not seem that much more difficult. Reddit feedback says supervisor job is awful in federal government. Is this true?
