I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

I am a VP with compensation of ₹48Lpa in India. Have an offer of €65K in Germany. The German offer is at a lower position and lower compensation as I do not know German (as yet) and senior roles would require client interaction (German clients).

I see it as an opportunity to get my foot into Germany on a EU Blue Card and then look for something better once there.

I am in a non-IT role.
