I get those thoughts and I've been in the field 15 years. Have been close to fired...once truly. It's really hard to recover from that sh!t.
I get these thoughts as well, and I just started 3 months ago?
It's intrusive thoughts all the time, and they hit on Thursdays through the weekend
Mostly as soon as I stop moving.
Same here. I’m worried I’m not doing a good enough job or that I’m too slow or asking too many questions
Yeah, I get the same feeling. I was walking out on Friday and my boss told caught my attention before I left and all I could think was “oh shit, what did I do?!”. Ended up with another raise but I was terrified for a good 30 seconds there.
If you do it will be a window closing and a door opening! Happened to me. Grass is greener when you no longer have it hanging over you. Good luck and follow your bliss. Lots of good jobs abound.
The thing is our jobs are in high demand especially from staff to consultant so I really wouldn't worry! If it happens you will find something very soon! Just remember you are worthy!!!
I get something similar but not quite the same.
Wow congrats SA1!
I also get these thoughts like crazy. Ever since I started as a senior mostly
Me2 all the time I think I am going to get fired I am so exhausted from working. I am the o oh one working super late all the time. It sucks. I can’t even keep my eyes open.
I used to feel like then then started to not give a fuck. They need you more than you need them! You can get another job in a heartbeat. So what if they fire you - could be a good thing in the long run
What office?
I'd rather not say which office. Here is an update. It's either I've gotten so use to this feeling, or I'm handling the anxiety better than before. I've gotten more comfortable with my work product and finally heard reviews that provide more insight.
Good news OP
