I was making ~$138K working for CVS as a PIC with a base schedule of 44hrs/week. I was coming early and staying late so it was closer to 60hrs/week. The unsafe work environment and poor QOL made me quit less than a year after taking the position.
I am now making $130K with an online pharmacy working from mostly from home 40hrs a week with flexible schedule and unlimited PTO.
Which online pharmacy? How is that like? Is it mail order?
6 yoe, Walmart full time south Louisiana (working about 90 hours per two weeks, not including paid lunches everyday, 4-6k annual bonus) was getting +$15/hour for working past 48 hours in two weeks. $217k for year 2021
Thank you for sharing. Are you a staff RPh or a PIC?
6 years of experience if you count 1 year residency. Started at $67/hr and now at $88/hr. Working in the emergency department as a pharmacist specialist. The big change was because I got BCPS in 2017 (my first year working) and at the time my employer was offering a $5 /hr differential for taking if but instead I got a $4/hr base pay raise. Then the next year a $2-$3 corporate raise plus a $2-$3 market adjustment. Then yearly step raises of about $2/hr. This year my boss fought his ass off and got us another market adjustment on top of the step raise so came out to about $7/hr. I’m in central CA, just north of Los Angeles.
Is this FT or PT?
Yes curious too, FT or PT? And which field in pharmacy? Retail? Hospital? Etc?
