Every time we present a new campaign concept, someone on leadership turns it into a 45-minute identity crisis. “Is this really who we are as a brand?” “Does this reflect our deeper mission?” Look, I care about purpose and alignment as much as the next marketer, but sometimes we’re just trying to launch a product video. It’s exhausting to keep reopening foundational questions every time we try to ship creative. Not everything needs to be a manifesto. How do you keep things moving without getting stuck in endless brand existentialism?

My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. Hi I'm curious what's the average salary for a brand manager in NYC (CPG/Food industry) with 3 yrs of experience?

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

Working at a hospital with a million programs and services. When is developing an independent brand for a group justified, and when should it remain part of the parent brand?

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?
