I'm a fan of Slack for managing teams, Asana for managing deadlines, and my regular Clock option on my iPhone to set a timer for periods when I need to intensely focus. Calm is a good one as well to force myself into some much-needed mindful downtime ;)
Notion: Team Management
Asana: Task Management
Slack: Communications
1Pass: Password Vault
Working Hours: Time Tracking
The apps I use most:
Amazing Marvin (tasks,projects, calendar, planning)
Google Drive & notion (notes)
Calendly - scheduling calls
Grammarly. Your premium subscription is worth every penny. I swear.
Calendly. For one-on-one meetings, it’s hard to beat Calendly, a tool that gets rid of the need for other people to ask you questions you can’t answer right away like “What’s your availability this week?”
I use Doodle. Sometimes you need to ask other people when they’re free, usually followed by a bit of back-and-forth while you try and figure out the best time for you both.
I recommend Float. Synced calendars are a must for seeing everyone’s availability, but Float takes this idea to the next level. They’ve developed a tool that lets teams plan smart by giving them access to others’ resources and bandwidth as opposed to simply seeing when they’re in a meeting.
I use Forest. Tracks the time I have for focused periods and I also gain coins in order to plant real trees. It's a win-win!
I'm not really sure if it's considered a productivity app but it does make me productive. I use the Gratitude Journal on Android phones. They have a prompt for me every day to write about things I am thankful for. Boosts my mood.
Any.do is a must have on any phone. Tracks my to-do lists and activities on my other calendars can sync perfectly with it. Just amazing for productivity.
Brain.fm definitely it has music that helps soothe my brain while I'm working. The ambient sounds it has are just superb for those long hours. My ears don't get tired as much and I can focus on what I am doing.
As a Community Manager, I rely heavily on productivity apps to help me stay organized and get things done. Some of my favorites include Asana, which allows me to manage projects and tasks in an organized manner, and Trello, which helps me keep track of progress and deadlines.
I love using Slack for team collaboration and communication and Google Calendar for managing meetings and events. I've always enjoyed using Evernote for taking notes and keeping track of ideas, as well as for creating to-do lists. Anything that helps me stay productive and organized at work is worth it.
Grammarly and Forest. These are my ultimate combo! You should try them too!
