Yeah I lateraled from V60 to V10. Litigation. And my new place had tons of similar laterals, even those from well known or respected boutiques
It's highly dependent on your practice group. In finance, almost always yes when the market is really active if you have strong credentials and solid tenure/experience. It's much harder to do in litigation and M&A. These moves are also common in L&E and specialty practices if your current firm is well-regarded.
