Anyone aware of TCS hiring process? How many days normally they take for the process. I had an interview yesterday both technical and Managerial. After that HR confirmed me over mail that I have cleared the interview rounds and asked to fill all the details on their portal. However, I haven't got any update today so I am just curious how many days they normally take to verify docs and proceed to HR discussion?Tata Consultancy Wipro Infosys IBM Accenture

I was looking for 2.5 years before getting a new job. My advice: don’t be picky. I ended up taking a job that pays me more than what i got before but is underpaid compared to the overall market for this job but i work 9-5. It’s not going to look exactly the way you want right now; you have to take whatever you can get and if that’s a promotion and higher pay, count yourself lucky
I agree and don’t mind changing fields if I can get noticed. I’ve definitely applied for roles but just keep getting decline emails. It will happen when it meant to happen at this point. Just going to continue applying and wait for my turn.
I coincidentally have also been looking for financial jobs since September-only one "zoom" interview in that time never heard back. I have also applied to 100's of positions. I have recently become a certified personal trainer/nutrition coach trying to transition into a new industry, but I'm finding a lot of those jobs require trainers to be "sales people" and push packages to members which is not the reason I got certified. Unfortunately, Its just a really bad job market now-no matter how much they spin "job numbers"- keep the faith..
Not sure if you can, but I would recommend maybe looking into health food stores in your area, you could work as a nutritionist there. Here in Canada we have nutritionists who work at Healthy Planet.
You could also approach benefits providers like Sun Life etc to add you to their network of providers as a nutritionist. It might help with visability.
Good luck!
Laid off on 9/30 (after 18+ yrs at a company)
So I'm in "month #6" of the job search.
Job mkt is cooked.......Per the US Labor Mkt website, the AVG length of time for job searches is 24 WEEKS !!!!
That's almost a full 6 months.😡

It is the market. It feels worst compared to 2024 when I was last looking for work. Well credentials with reputable companies. I have been looking for 4 months full time. A few leads but nothing seems to materilaze or progressing. A classic sign a weak job market and a recession signal. Heard the same from my nework contacts. It is almost impossible to find good jobs unless you are in the niche or have high demand skills, and knows someone.
At some point it's a numbers a game. Aim to apply to 20 jobs a day, more if that's all you do. Have a couple versions of your resume for different roles but don't otherwise customize per job, there is no ROI.
Customize through AI, but just the cover sheet. Use lmarena.ai and keep a running conversation.
Luck, networking, and quantity are massive factors that go into job hunting success. It is a really difficult time to find work, but there is still work out there.
The job market sucks right now. There are alot of people looking for a new role right now, and it has been difficult for people to stand out with so many people applying for the same jobs.
And I have been reading that there are signs that we are headed into a recession later this year, if we are not already in one.
Same
Yes. In the same boat.
Same here! I lost my job mid March. It’s terrible!
I need a job urgently, been searching since last year September . I have done couple of interviews but the answer is same , now I second doubt myself and gradually loosing my confidence .
