I was not getting any proper job, I joined a company as System Admin (the position name is only in pen and paper their actual work is data entry operator) on 3rd party payroll. The company only gives salary which is lowest in market. they don't provide any facilities. there is no career growth, learning facilities in this company. Still I am not getting proper job. Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now? It seems the job market is cooling a bit and I might lose some leverage if I wait longer to bring this up, in case the economy turns for the worse.
