You have two issues here -
1. Salary is less
2. Your domain of work
Solutions -
1. Prepare for interviews and switch. In this case you will remain in same domain
2. If you want to switch you domain, you can take up some projects in current company around that and then prepare yourself and switch. If you intend to move into coding (you can do self study- a lot of material is available on YouTube, geekforgeeks, leetcode etc) , you will be treated as a fresher and might be hired at a lower compensation than what you have right now. If you really want to do it, you can go ahead with it.
Now as far as girlfriend is concerned, can’t really do much for people who have gone out of life. Would suggest you to move on. Concentrate on things that you have and that matter.
And for mental health, you can reach out to therapists or doctors. It’s okay and you will be fine. Meditation helps too.
Best wishes
Glad to know that it was helpful. Ping me. I can share what helped me.
I had almost 5 years of work experience prior to my MBA. 3 in L1 support, ~2 in Salesforce Functional. Currently, started as a Salesforce BA post MBA(~4 months) and my fixed CTC is 13. Things have only went downhill since last year. Had to part ways with my girlfriend who was with me for 10 years. 2022 started with me contracting COVID which has further deteriorated my mental health. I have never switched in my life(which is why I lack confidence) and also feel BA skills might not be that much valuable in the current market. Can any of you who are working on trending tech help me with a course plan that can help me switch in next 3-4 months to a better package? I have never coded in industry but I used to be good in undergrad college. I know I am an MBA but tech seems to be the only option that can save me. Pls drop in your valuable suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
Who said so I'm a BA so I know first of all come out of self pity state, try things unless you try new things you will feel low, as for Covid, I contacted Covid when I was 8 months pregnant, come on! Success favors the bold!!!
