Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

There are no cons
Oh boy this question has never been asked before! Can't wait to read all the original ideas
Ctrl F for me then
Thepointsguy does an interesting analysis on the benefits if you're considering preferred vs reserved. Basically only have to spend about $2600/year on travel and dining to justify the annual fee difference. Also, December is the best time to get CSR
@ey1. I'm guessing Huron is saying because you get the card now, get $300 travel credit, get credit again in 2017, and by the time 2nd annual fee hits and statement closes, you'll be in 2018 and get the 3rd credit
No negatives if you spend a decent amount on travel and dining (~$2800 a year)... get it. The priority pass lounge access has been a game changer for me

Why is that Huron?
Yup, exactly what D1 said! 👍🏼
Read ThePointsGuy's article as well. Interesting discussions in those comment sections
I have a sapphire preferred. Can I just upgrade?
@EY1 yes you can upgrade, but you won't get the sign up bonus
Should I just cancel my preferred and get the reserve? Worried about the credit hit
I would say try avoiding card cancellations if possible. It honestly depends on how many credit cards you already own
Downgrade to the freedom
You can downgrade the preferred to the unlimited, that's what I did. No extra credit checks
I already have the freedom though 😑
Chase just cancelled my preferred annual fee. I have Freedom and Preferred without fees now.
@D3 what did you say
