Anyone notice the $500 cash back offer for Torneau purchases with Chase Sapphire Reserve? I’ve never actually used these offers before, but that effectively equates to $750 when using the points with 1.5x redemption, right? If I’m understanding the mechanics of the offer properly then that’s a pretty good deal 🤑

Is it close to impossible to move and get a job in the US from Europe if not for an internal transfer? Will most companies not bother at all with visa sponsorships for non-Americans?

I’m new to the multi card strategies and such… I have the chase sapphire preferred as my only card right now because it had a 100k points bonus. Can someone give me a dumbed down version of the best steps to maximize points with multi cards and why? Does it hurt your credit?

No longer in consulting so travel doesn’t matter. I eat out sometimes but not often. Not spending a ton save for groceries 2x a month and Uber eats 1x a week

What's your favorite non-airline/hotel credit card? I need a new one, and was curious what my consulting peers prefer (aside from Delta Amex, Marriott Visa, etc.).

I and my fiancé (both valid H1 visa holders) got married a week back in India. We will be traveling soon back to USA. Is it advisable to get my marriage registered here in India or would it be recommended to register that in US once we travel back?
P.S. My firm is going to start my green card processing soon and my spouse would be filing with me, so I am looking for choice of documentation that would be hassle free.

L2 EAD renewal underway- due for expiration in November 2020.
Also, concurrently filed renewals for L1, L2 and L2 EAD (expiration for visa in Feb 2021). I foresee a break in my employment given my current EAD situation

Even if I get my EAD before nov (which looks highly unlikely), it would be only valid till Feb 2021 and will depend on how our concurrent filing is processed.

Is there a way I can avoid it? Can I ask my employer to sponsor H1B? Looking for suggestions!

Can you travel to US on visitor visa right before the visa expires (i.e. a week before the visa expiration date)?

I’m beyond irritated by one of my coworkers. Just so disorganized, doesn’t show up to meetings, doesn’t reply to emails, constantly have to chase him, miss deadlines because of him. Management knows but does nothing about it. He really is a nice guy so it’s hard to hate him but I’m gonna lose it sooner or later.
