100% yes
Went into the local Chase branch. 5/24 means you've applied for 5 credit cards in the last 24 months
Thanks Jon snow.
If you're under 5/24, absolutely. You'll get $600 in travel credit for the first year the card is open
Actually 5/24 means 5 new accounts opened in past 24 months. Applications or inquiries don't matter
K1 - not an option. They're two separate cards. What you can do is downgrade your Chase Sapphire Preferred to a lower-level Chase Sapphire card (will have to call them to inquire). That way you won't have to pay two annual fees but will retain the card for credit history
Did it today!
How did you apply already? Heard it does not open up until tomorrow
I want to find out about changing my sapphire preferred to the reserve
Yay, of course. Will downgrade my CSP to Freedom unlimited then I will have the most powerful trifecta in the credit card industry
@D4, the $300 credit resets in December and is based on calendar year so if you open the CSR now and use $300 by Dec, you have another $300 comes Jan
Yes!
D1, What's 5/24?
Explain 5/24 in details please
No thank you needed my lord
Hows 600 ?
K1 - let me know if that's an option and we still get the bonus. I'm in the same boat.
If over 5/24 does that mean I shouldn't bother?
Still should consider product switch to CSR. Benefits are too good even without the 100k signing bonus
