Coming back from maternity leave has been more challenging than I expected. Balancing new motherhood and a demanding finance career feels overwhelming. Any tips from those who’ve been there?

First of all, I love that this is a group. This is why I joined this app. Thank you. But I’d love advice on how/were to transition away from banking and finance. Bachelor degree in agriculture, National guardsmen, seeking $75k/yr, ideally remote. I feel stuck and lost because I took a leap of faith to get into banking with no experience and now I have no relative experience in another field/industry to get me out.

Been with my GF since college and we recently hit the 4 year mark. 1-2 years into our relationship I found out she had instances of micro-cheating (flirting with guys, talking to ex’s etc - but nothing physical) and we addressed it. Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. Hi All, i am CA currently working with Deloitte USI i got an offer from Zscaler for SEC reporting team for senior analyst post for chandigarh at 17LPA fixed no bonus no stocks. My Promotion is due in deloitte in June 23 after promotion fixed plus bonus will surpass current offer of Zscaler. I doubt if i make a switch to industry it will be difficult for me to Join big 4 again
