I know everyone will have different answers for this but how did you know it was time to get sober? I think it might be time for me to find a new job and pursue sobriety, but I don't feel like I'm a rock bottom which is the only time I've ever seen people really commit to it (my father). Apathy isn't the right word but I just kind of feel numb about everything and I think being sober would maybe help.

Does anyone know if we can reimburse expenses for items listed in Wageworks while on maternity?

I know we cannot expense phone/internet/ commuter benefit as I am not actively doing work.

How long after a failed transfer does your stomach and body feel like it’s back to normal? It’s been a little over a week since I got the news that my transfer a few weeks ago didn’t work. But my stomach is still so pooched out and looks pregnant that it makes me cry knowing that’s not the case. Trying to eat clean, tons of long walks, but still feel really bloated and gross.

6 months pregnant and shot a 94 over the weekend - I haven’t played that well since high school! Had to share with some folks who might appreciate it - husband shot one of the worst rounds of his life, so I can’t revel in the accomplishment with him. 😆🏌🏻‍♀️

I’m struggling with an issue with a student right now. I teach in a suburban school outside of NYC that has a very large majority of white students. One of my Black students was recently involved in a biased incident with another student in which he received racist social media messages and racist spoken words from the other student. Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female.
