Welcome to the wonderful world of advertising. It’s like that pretty much everywhere.
That one thing you’ll come to learn is that this career is what you make of it.
If you ask for those things of your coworkers, you’ll most likely get a warm reception. Especially in reviews…have questions ready.
If you wait for anything, you’ll be waiting forever because everyone is slammed on 1000 other things.
If you want something, just take the initiative to make it happen and you’ll be surprised. Goes for pretty much everything.
Take control. Be proactive. Never wait for or expect someone else to take action.
Easier said than done. Great leaders are also aware of their team and their weaknesses. I’ve been blessed with what OP is looking for (albeit a short time), and one thing is that I didn’t have to ask because my CD was mature enough to understand what leadership looks like.

i was a junior, but recently got
promoted.
Sorry this has been your experience - that's not a good feeling. There will always be a bit of that, but I definitely feel like things have shifted, especially post-COVID where teams are running lean and people got used to working remotely so there is a bit less of a team mentality in a lot of ways. Agree with CD2 - try to see if there's someone more senior in your role who you can bounce ideas off of, or talk to your manager/CD and see if you can get a little more guidance - it's sink or swim to an extent but you should be getting some direction.
Looking for a new role at a place with better mentorship?
yes. if the place exists.
You have to be proactive about seeking mentorship. read articles about managing up and identify the steps you need to take to get what you need to grow. people aren’t going to assume they can help you grow, esp if they don’t directly manage you.
