Honestly not sure about this myself yet, can let you know in a few months

Guessing 300-350 base

like

That is total comp for a SM. For a managers (2 years post mba) it’s closer to 275 all in

A lot more than what I make as a manager

like

It’s a little over 240 for just base + bonus

like

Too much m

Don’t know exact but I assume 250-350 range, p sure you can find it if you search fishbowl

If this is the same level as EM then ~250

260 TC with NAP (profit share), then 1 year later at SM it’ll be ~330

Confirming this

What should I expect for McK EM offer? The recruiter told me today $192k base, $50k bonus and $24k signing. I was also told an associate signing is $30k but the smaller amount is due to a higher bonus than associates. Am I missing something or are they lowballing me? I thought the base would have been in the $220k range but maybe not. TIA

Wanted to get opinion from community. Should I continue as EY FAAS manager M2 (120k) or take job as an assistant controller with biotech for 170k plus bonus and stock? Assistant Controller job would require me to be in office few days a week (about hour and half commute one way) whereas faas is remote for foreseeable future. I also don't know way to get promoted to FAAS senior manager ( m3-> senior manager?). I also don't know FAAS SM salary.

Hey Guys, I got an offer from IBM and wanted to understand how the PF deduction works. So the compensation breakup is like Fixed pay(basic+FBP) + Gratuity(4.8% of basic) + PF(12% of basic) Is the PF mentioned in the offer breakup, employers PF or employee PF? If its the employers PF, will the same amount(12% of basic) will again be deducted from my fixed as employee PF contribution?

Not exactly sure what decision to make. I’m leaning more towards EY because of title upgrade, comp package and the nature of the work but I’m also scared because of WLB and culture concerns. EY PwC

This may be just a naive/dumb question, but how do you relax when you’ve got a really stressful file? I’m a junior and I’ve been putting in ~10ish billable hours a day recently, which is more than I’m used to. The evenings (post-8pm) are generally my time to decompress - read a book, watch dumb tv, whatever - but it’s been all work lately until 10 or 11pm and I struggle to go straight from work to bed. Any insight on what everyone else does?
