I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. How do you think about carried interest as a factor in total comp? Getting 69bps (memelord GPs) in a $420M (see above) fund, which vests over 8 years. It’s a new fund, so won’t be paid out until liquidation 5-7 years later.

Assuming I stay at the fund for two years, and the fund returns 3x, that’s 300k (obviously subject to big change depending on my tenure & returns). When benchmarking against other offers, how should this be valued? Is TC 450k (300k salary/bonus + 150k carry), or less?

Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . They both have their benefits and company match.

The 90k is also a new team so a lot of growth opportunity while the 72k is well established team. If this matters at all.
