Completely fresher in accounting industry, i got hired at 22.50 , Year 1 - Raise 23.50 , Year 2- 24.30 , now at year 3 ive asked for a higher raise i feel i am working more and earning less. I dont think they will increase more than $2 this year , do you guys think $50,000 is good enough for a staff accountant?

One of my senior managers is a boomerang and told me she was laid off when she was 7 months pregnant about 10 years ago. I think she was a senior or manager. She was in a specific group and everybody was laid off. It wasn’t performance based.
