Managers and up - if an otherwise diligent senior says something stupid as an answer to your question or misses something very obvious, do you hold that against them?

My relationship with manager has deteriorated over the last few months. Could this be a reason they could fire/let me go? I am a good performer overall.

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.

Had a panic attack at work and had to leave bc I felt like I was going to puke at my desk... I feel like a disappointment to my team, since I couldn’t go to the client site. First bad day in a while):

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

I've been biking to my home office everyday so I've been wearing gym clothes and bringing a change of clothes with me. When I get in the morning how long can I sit at my desk before going to change?

I got transferred to different accounts and LOB it was so exhausting and finally when I decided to leave and send my resignation my Supervisor be like "you know you should be thankful of your job" To be honest the job was very stressful and supervisor at some point is somehow toxic but thankful I get to take my leave.

Senior to Manager-level Data Scientists, what is the minimum set of skills and experience you require someone to have in order to train them to be a Data Scientist?

I have a handful of people from BI and Marketing who want to learn how to be a "Data Scientist" where some of them have stronger SQL knowledge and ability than others, but some of them have more exposure to languages like Python and R, and a little bit of machine learning exposure.
