@Consultant 1. I've been unimpressed by IBMs offerings in the Public Sector. Primarily, it's been boring SAS and SPSS projects with USPS or IRS. Commercial isn't much better also (many of them have to go to Public for work). IBM just doesn't have the reputation and charges way too much to win analytics work. If I were to do Analytics in Federal, I'd go to Accenture or Deloitte. Booz is a landmine where they lump a bunch of stuff as a data scientist and it's quite frustrating if you do want to do actual data analytics work.
What are your thoughts on KPMG, EY when compared to ACN and Deloitte?
@KPMG is smaller in the Federal consulting realm compared to their Audit, EY also. A & D are the powerhouses in the space. But I've seen high performance for their roles they have in the analytics space.
