Covid really screwed this generation of students. Between all of the missed school and the nightmare that was digital learning, almost all of my students are missing some basic skill concepts, and they're universally behind. Is this a problem you guys have noticed with your students?

I started trading during Covid crash. Started with equities and eventually moved to options. Earlier lost a month's salary and then lot more trying to recover it. Currently have lost my yearly salary worth and it's affecting all aspects of my life (job, marriage, health). I have tried to convince myself to consider it a loss but always get back trying to recover it.

Any advice how to deal with it. Thanks.

best sources or partners for archival / found footage / UGC, given the current live shoot limitations? (ie, preferably not the generic stock being used in every covid relief spot)

While the impact of this Coronavirus has been mostly negative, at least one positive is that rare specialty pieces are now much more attainable. AD able to get many even without $ history.

COVID 19 crisis should make all states compact for licensing. Precious time was lost while nurses who wanted to work waited for states to pass emergency laws.

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have COVID delayed vacations planned for the last week in August and the first week in October.

Should I just cancel one of them? Or should I at least put both on the table and see what they say? They're going to hire me either way, but I wonder if it's a bad start to ask for both.

Under contract to buy my first home - house hacking a triplex. Property has been leased by the same three tenants for the last 5+ yrs, rents haven’t been raised since they moved in. Market rents have risen 70-100% in the same timeframe. All seem like ideal tenants (retired and take great care of the units) but I’d like advice on how to approach the rent increase conversation. Rents don’t make/break my mortgage payment but I’m leaving a lot on the table if I don’t increase significantly.
