I genuinely enjoy it. Even when I encounter something challenging, or that I don't fully understand I enjoy it. Granted- I am have a unique experience of being hired as a successor. I don't face the same challenges as those who are straight building a business. But no matter what you're doing you need to enjoy it!

I wanted to be in the drivers seat. I was an assistant and ask for permission when I could take my vacation. Every year I would get 1 week before or after christmas. Meanwhile my babies were in daycare. I knew I could go much better. Yes, I started from zero but you are your own boss.

This is probably an odd question, but i just found out that the professor who is teaching a tax class I’m in for school, is the Tax manager from a local firm who is assigned to our taxes as a company (I’ve worked with him regarding our taxes).

This isn’t like conflict of interest or anything right?
