Creative freelancers: do you put early contract termination clauses into your contracts?

I freelanced for a well-known NYC agency a couple years ago and they ended the contract 2 weeks early due to the project being halted. I want to protect myself from that happening again but not sure if that’s common. What are fair terms and how to bring up/include in a contract?

I completed 4 years in JPMC , every year I got double digit hikes >12%, and bonuses >3 lakh and increasing . last year I got promoted to 602 with bonus >5 lakh, I am getting interesting offers outside should I stay or leave ? Also, I need 11+ likes to unlock my dm . Please like 🙏

What role(s) in GCP would be a fit for someone who is great at building research prototypes and then leveraging/leading software engineers to realize the details and build them out?
